Difference Between Jarkan, Zircon and Zirconia?

People often get confused between what is Jarkan, Zircon, and zirconia. It might look a little overwhelming on the surface but can be differentiated easily.

What is Jarkan?

Jarkan is the common term derived from the English word- “Zircon.” Over time, the concept has taken its form due to mispronunciation, and people are not able to understand the difference between jarkan and ZirconNatural Zircon stone is frequently associated with cubic zirconia (CZ) stone as both of them are related to as “Jarkan” in the global trade language. However, both are entirely separate stones.

What is Cubic zirconia or zirconia?

Cubic Zirconia is a human-made look-alike of Natural Zircon. Due to similar Names and similar characteristics, People often get confused between Zircon and Cubic Zirconia. Both are referred to as “Jarkan” in day-to-day terminology. But apart from features, there is a significant difference between Natural Zircon and Man-Made Cubic Zirconia.
